Here are all the projects I've been working on...once my teaching gig ended in mid-June, I turned into a crafting freak. I'm pretty pleased with the way that everything turned out. As with most of my crafts, as long as you don't look too closely for straight lines, it's all good

Wow--I love the painting on Dylan's wall--I wish my parents had had the time or patience to do that for us!

The other stuff's pretty darned cool, too--especially the book. :D

Thank you! My dad might have attempted something like this, given the time or inclination, but not my mom.

When I told my dad about what I was doing, he told me that his mother did all kinds of murals in their house, around the doorways, etc. -- her father was a painter and she learned from him. That was kind of interesting to me, since my dad came from a rural, blue-collar household in northern France and his mom worked in a factory with the rest of the family,
