And here I'm worrying about my English grade, which currently is an 87. I'm such a loser.
Basically the best advice I can give you is to not freak out with everything that's going on. It's extremely hypocritical of me to say that, since I am the biggest strees-freak you will ever know, but I do believe that's it important to stay calm, and if I knew how to do that I would.
I really hope everything goes smoothly for you! I've been missing your posts and I hope to see more of them.
Awww thanks for such a wonderful comment!! I try to keep calm and not let it all get to me. There’s a lot of change in store for me in the next year or so, and I'm trying to make the transitions as smooth and stress free as humanly possible. So far it hasn't been too bad. My schedule has been VERY full, but that’s the worst of it. :)
I'm gonna try and post on here a bit more, if I can remember (which is sad, I know), and I totally appreciate your support!
Good luck to you and your English class (which I'm sure you'll so stellar in!) and thanks again!
Yeah, I do admit that my job is rewarding. I've never been more happy about my job - however, I deal with people on prescription drugs (sometimes LOTS of them). So that can get stressful. Plus I'm just a clerk, so if anyone is gonna get the slack from the customers, its me in the front lines. Basically I get paid to get yelled at most of the time. People seriously lack respect in my field.
Having that said, my job is pretty cool for lots of reasons. Better than a lot of other jobs, I'll say.
I definitely know about pharmacy drama. I always get so upset when some old hag is harassing the clerk about something inane. There's really no reason to be rude, ever, so I have a low tolerance for that kind of thing. Obviously a pharmacy is not the place for me!
Oh, and about Risperdal and Topamax...do people actually think they're the same? How can you even confuse them?! (Easy to say for somebody who's actually been on both, but hey.)
lol Pharmacy's can be a mess sometimes. The catch is - people NEED medication, so there is no way of getting around it. It's an oddity of the job, I guess. It's why I enjoy the field (I get to actually help people sometimes) and it's why I hate my job (because there's no getting out of it - medication is sometimes peoples lifelines).
Oh yeah, and the comment about the drugs was just a joke. I literally pulled two random drugs off the top of my head. More so to just make people go "Huh?" than anything else, really. People don't confuse them, no. At least I seriously hope not....
