Does anyone know how to add an amazon wishlist to your LJ userinfo page?

Well, you could put a link to it in your bio; I just tried it with mine (I took it out after I made sure it worked), and it worked fine. If you need more help with this, let me know, and send me a pointer to your wish list if you can.

Hmm...well I definitely want it in my userinfo page, but not sure about my bio. I wanted it there as a tool, not as a "hey, everyone, here is my wishlist".

Here is the URL:

Hm. I looked at it again, and it's the only way I can see of getting un-LJ-messed with text in there; can't put it in interests, friends, etc. (although I *do* like the idea of my amazon wishlist as my friend...:-)

Basically, here is what you do: Edit your bio, and put in the following: ([open angle bracket] refers to this: <; [close angle bracket] refers to this: >. If I actually put them in, you won't be able to see what to put in, 'cuz LJ will process it)

[open angle bracket]a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/wishlist/ref=cm_wl_topnav_gateway/103-2338000-5487806"[close angle bracket] This is my Amazon wishlist [open angle bracket]/a[close angle bracket]

somewhere in it. The part which says 'This is my Amazon wishlist' can say anything you want, but it will show up as a link (in other words, it will be blue or purple, depending when you last visited the page). All the other text (

don't get the widescreen version of the LOTR: TT cause the special extended version is shipping in a few weeks and believe me, you want the extended version.
