Given that you didn't even think you'd be a BM, isn't it a bit much to now be insulted if you're not MoH? MoH is only a label anyway. It doesn't mean anything. Certainly didn't mean anything to me when I was a bride anyway; I didn't even designate any of my three BMs as MoH. Never even occurred to me. And if I had, who should I have chosen? My sister who lived 8 hours away, my longtime penpal on the other side of the planet, or my friend who lived 15 mins away? Based on convenience and geography, logic dictates that it should have been the latter. I suspect if your sister does choose a MoH, then she might consider similar factors. All good points. And Im not thinking I would be MoH. I think P should be it. She is closest agewise, friendshipwise, and locationwise (45 minutes). All the named girls are far away, so P still makes the most sense, being the closest.

I dunno, I guess I just sort of have the traditionalist thought that it "should" be family.... Im so old fashioned!

so far, no decision. P and I both told her when we were trying dresses the other day that we didnt mind either way... So, for now we both are being as supportive and helpful as we can be. she may forgo the whole thing I guess... who knows. She's not so good a decisions at this stage of the game.
