When you go CO, you aren't stripping your hair of it's natural oils any more. Eventually, your scalp decides it doesn't need to produce so much oil, and your hair ends up needing a little help. =) I use a blend of oil I make with Argan, macademia, and hemp oil with so essential oils for a yummy smell. At first I only put it on the ends before my showers. After a while, it needed more, so I started putting a bit on after my showers as well. Good luck. I do the full-on no-poo. Water only. I love it.

I haven't ever had this problem but I remember reading somewhere that to have moisturized hair, you can give it one of two things: protein or oils. Depending on what your hair needs, if you give it too much of one of those, it may feel dry. So maybe the conditioner you have (or other things you put on your hair) have too much of one of those? In that case, you'll need less of that and more of the other thing or only less of what you're doing now. Find out if your conditioner has a lot of protein in it, and take a look at if you find a brand with less of that.

My guess would be that your conditioner has too much protein, so try doing a deep conditioning with some (olive, joboba, almond, etc) oil in it and definitely change your brand of conditioner. If you're doing any types of deep conditioning with your rice or noodle water, stop doing that. If on the other hand, you keep doing oil deep conditioning, stop that and try some noodle water =D
