i saw the most beautiful thing today. I was driving around cape horn on my way to school at around 6:20 am, and i chanced to look over my shoulder breifly. For a split second i was able to view the entire gorge lit up with milky golden sunlight, you know the kind that reminds me of margerine butter only nicer to look at. the greens were so dark and ( Read more... )

That view is incredible. I have had the honor of being able to see it everyday of the week, its just once in a while that i notice it with childlike eyes:)

I really enjoyed your pictures, especially the ones of the morning light. Do you spend much time in the gorge? What areas are you familiar with? I've taken all kinds of pictures around the dam of the mountains and stuff and up in hemlock and stabler. I share this with you because you seem like someone who appreciates this area's natural beauty as much as i do:) Im amazed every day of my life by the little things...
