Oh my.
Did you know they made a Thomas Kinkade Movie? No, I don't think I would ever actually see it. I'd rather have my eyes plucked out from my head.

What do you mean? You don't like Thomas Kinkade's BLINDINGLY UNIQUE artwork? What do you take him for, some fat old guy that paints the same thing every time, ey??

Haha, I like how they're trying to make him look like some sexy young prodigy.

Nooo, I don't remember even seeing it, but I'm sure that I've walked by it a million times and just never thought about it because it all looks the saaaameee.

Even though you don't like it, doesn't mean it's not art. It's not my style, and I definitely wouldn't put it on the walls in my home. However, it is still art and there are those that appreciate it. It's kind of cozy looking..

Oh yes, it still IS art. I have a huge respect for all things declared art. My teacher always used to tell me "It's just eating dinner until you decide to do it in a art gallery." I believe to create art, all you have to do it declare it art. Like Chris Burden, he shot himself as a art piece, as well as nailed his hands to a car in another. To me, conceptual art is most interesting, but I can think of a whole slew of people who will readily disagree with me. But still, it's all art. It just depends on if it's GOOD art. Thomas Kinkade, in my opinion, if awful, crafty type of art. To be honest, I've never met a fan of his that wasn't a conservative old lady. In snotty art school, we are taught to dislike him in our history classes from day one. Ha.

in my not so snotty art school, we are also taught to hate him. I always did anyways, though.

Same here. I was never a fan of mall art.

Where did you go to school? I was just kidding around, I went to Hartford Art School, and it's a small quiet little place. Not very snotty when compared to all the big named schools.
