There are 150 PEOPLE IN THE BAND!!!!! There are 107 people in the reg band and 40 something in symphonic. Thats amazing! Our band has increased by 1.5 in a year! I can't believe we have like a day left of vacation......I really have no mood to go back to work. And the worst part is that they always give tons of work the first 2 weeks. yucko!

I had one of my wisdom teeth taken out today. When they were done, I felt soooo woozy! I could barely walk b/c of the anesthesia. I really hate that stuff. The worst part is that I have to go through the same thing again next year to get my last 2 wisdom teeth taken out. Yesterday I had my last lesson of the summer.  I was talking to Bill (my clarinet teacher) about scholarships and stuff like that.  So he told me that if I really want to go into music, I should start practicing 3hrs a day.  I actually trust his advice and therefore - 3hrs a day of practicing is it.  Hopefully by the time school starts I'll be a ( Read more... )

I just got back from trying yoga. This was the first time I've ever done it. It is soo relaxing...but I didn't sweat as much as people thought I would. Anyone who is flexible at all should try it! It's soo relaxing like I said before.
