I think that if your roommate feels uncomfortable with David staying over, David should stay elsewhere, not your roommate. After all, it is HIS room, not David's.

I stayed over there one night, soley because I was way to tired to spend the 45 minutes driving home. It's not at all like it's a frequent occurance. It was nothing but necessisty.

Also, as a side note, Patrick is allowed to have "guests" spend the night 7 nights out of every month, per housing regulations.
