His eyes for the stage only. Shouts around him. A sea of raised hands.
He smiled, swaying with the slow flow of the music, shivers all over his spine as the crowd was now singing along with the warm voice coming from the huge speakers.
The tips of his blond hair were slightly wet, he knew his make up was screwed up, he probably looked like a cheap whore by now and he didn't care. He closed his eyes and savoured the way the music was creating a bond between all the people here, people who usually wouldn't notice each other.
Kouyou was happy about that. Tonight he had a little faith about humanity. Maybe it wouldn't last, but tonight he definitely felt like he wasn't alone at all.
Not even a tiny bit.
Soon a catchy rhythm resonated and possessed all of the people in the crowd and he shook his head along, his whole body burning to reply to the beats. He was dancing with music and he couldn't be defeated by it. Once more, the crowd got calmer, trying to reach the sky and Kouyou wished he could see them all from above. They were the sea, they were the waves guided by the wind.
He looked around him to see the crowd in the same transe.
High with music.
Their eyes met.
Kouyou lost himself in the atmosphere of the night, closed his eyes and felt submerged by rare emotions that erased his fears and anxiety.
Nothing was important now.
Nothing.
The grass was dewy but his whole body was hot from all the dancing, it was refreshing. His hands wandered on the thin green leaves, grasping and releasing them with a smile. Tiny golden points in the dark sky, Kouyou drownded in the sight, breathing slowly and relaxing. He felt so good.
- Are you alright?
He just had to turn his gaze a little to meet his. For few seconds he froze, losing himself in his dark orbs and finally looked back at the night sky.
- I feel wonderful.
The dark haired admired his thin and well shaped body.
- I love the way you dance.
A laugh passed Kouyou's lips.
- Pleased you do.
He came closer and he closed his eyes.
- You're blonder than before.
- Great sense of observation.
- I tried to call you.
Kouyou sighed.
- I lost my phone.
The dark haired nodded. He had been waiting for this excuse after all.
- You didn't come back to the club.
- I get easily bored.
It was Yuu's turn to sigh.
- I wanted to see you again. And tonight you appeared in the middle of the crowd and I couldn't believe it.
- Why don't you imagine it never happened?
Yuu lost himself in his honey stare.
- I'm bad at imagining. I'm too realistic.
Kouyou snorted, looking up at the sky as fake blissful emotions clang to him.
- And I don't know how to cope well with reality. I'm a dreamer.
- Opposite attracts.
- They don't fit in the end.
- They complete each other.
- It exacerbates their difference.
- Fuck!
Kouyou flinched and his gaze for Yuu who had stood up. The dark haired walked away, disappointed.
The hopes he had gotten for them were reduced to dust, it had been a matter of minutes.
He let the smoke fill his lungs and exhaled in the warm night, at his window. He could still hear the music muffled by the distance. Head bending, another promise of a sleepless night, wondering why his wish had been granted and ruined without any glim of light.
His eyes fell on a silhouette he found familiar.
Hazel on chocolate, his eyes met his dark orbs and Yuu didn't realize his cigarette was forever lost.
The other picked it up from the ground and took a drag on it, staring back at Yuu's incredulous expression.
Open, was the word he could read on his lips.
Watching each other quietly. Yuu was afraid to speak and Kouyou didn't know what to say.
So maybe the better was to let their bodies express what their mind couldn't.
And...
Yuu was pulled against Kouyou for a crazy kiss, the door closing by the way their bodies crushed against it. Kouyou moaned as Yuu's hips were gridding against his.
- Déjà vu.
The blond laughed against Yuu's mouth:
- We seem to like doors.
- Gonna introduce you to my bed.
When Yuu's warmth envelopped him, Kouyou thought he would explose, scattered everywhere around. But it was only in his chest, something drumming hard and fast.
Excitation. Thought his head.
Love? Wondered his heart.
You don't fall in love with a stranger after you had sex with them in some dirty toilets weeks ago.
You still wouldn't because they put you in their bed and were making love to you.
No way. No way. He's fucking me. Yes. That's it. Fucking...
His hand holding his cheek, the other helping him to stay in place while his hips were dancing slowly against him, between his thighs. A stolen kiss, his teasing tongue drawing his lips and Kouyou got lost into his stare, loud sighs passing his lips.
- I hope forever lasts a long time tonight.
A frown. Eyes shut to avoid the emotion(s). Shivers from the kisses spread on the skin of chest, his hands messing up his dark hair because it was blissful.
- Your name?
Warm whisper against his lips. Kouyou's eyes snapped open and he wondered if it was important.
- What for?
- I want you to be real.
Eyelids fluttering when Yuu fastened the pace.
- Don't you feel me?
- Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I have hallucinations and you're created by my mind. Maybe you're an illusion. Maybe for real, I'm just jerking myself off, alone.
His laugh. Yuu loved his laugh. He wanted him to never stop laughing.
- I usually don't talk much in bed. Let alone laugh.
Yuu's blank expression caught his attention.
- But I like it.
Mouths stuck together, both breathing each other.
- Want to know mine?
Kouyou welcomed his lips in the crook of his neck gladly.
- No.
- Why?
- You'll be real.
Yuu blocked out the harassing thoughts telling him to stop now. To leave his frustration behind because this memory that his brain was spinning like a web would only hurt him once the sun was raising. Like a story riddled with lies, his memory would make the moment more beautiful than it was.
Could it ever surpass the present? He thought.
- Uruha.
He nearly stopped. Nearly because when he almost did, Uruha was suddenly pushing onto him, urging him to go on.
- Don't...More...Please...
That was what Yuu needed. A name to remember. A name to call. A name to cherish. A name to be saddened by.
Something real among the lies.
Uruha held him closer, singing his pleasure into his ear. And Yuu thought he wanted this song every night.
I want to dissolve into nothingness but tonight you make me feel like I'm everything.
I'm not just a piece of flesh in your arms. I feel alive.
You make me want to live.
But mostly, I want to die.
It can't last.
It won't.
Nothing good is meant to last anyway.
Not even...
A symphony of moans passing his lips, Yuu digging into him deeper and deeper.
I want more of you. So much more.
It hurt on his skin, the way Uruha was clinging to him. Desperately. Urgently. Frantically.
Until Kouyou's grip loosened, until his head turned to one side, hiding the wet trail on one of his cheek.
Heaven.
Tracing promises of forever on his porcelain skin. Crimson lips abused again and again until their chests were hurting because yearning for air.
Kouyou looked into his eyes and feared Yuu would read his soul.
- What do you dream of then?
For a small instant, Kouyou looked away and let his eyes meeting the moon, through the glass of the window. As to read the answer there. But he saw nothing more than the dimness and the holes, the radiating light. And darkness all around.
- I'm not a hopeless romantic. I want...A hand. I want to feel safe, I want to trust. I want reality. I want a future founded on reality.
Kouyou finally looked at the moonlit man holding him.
- Sometimes it's tiring to dream. But it's easier to find than reality.
He laced his fingers in between his.
- Here.
Hazel eyes on him, he repeated louder:
- Here. It's reality.
Uruha kissed his lips.
Tonight he was convinced that reality had a sweet taste sometimes...
But certainly not until tomorrow.
~
There was no reason why I fell in love that night.
Other than your smile and the lighting in the room, the moon shining exquisitely.
~
Yuu let out a deep sigh, ignoring his shaking hand holding the tiny paper where his fugitive lover had left his print. It fell back on the pillow and he didn't know if it was the rain against the glass of his window or his eyes.
Thank you for another "forever".
To next time...If I leave my dreams again, if reality wants us to meet once more.
-------------------
"There was no reason why...", to me, is being thought by Uruha. But you can also attribute it to Yuu. It's up to you. Oh, I hope you got that Uruha was given because he didn't want to give Yuu his real name. That's why there's an alternation between Uruha/Kouyou. Sorry if it confuses you, but if you're careful enough you might see WHEN exactly I use them both. Also, it has almost nothing to do with the prequel). I wasn't up to write a PWP because of Uruha's personnality in Lost in Lust which seemed interesting to write about to me. That's why he's that...Mysterious/weird/punchable/dumb/etc, pick the right one lol. And, first scene is 99% real lol, except that I never met my Aoi -gets bricked-
What else? I won't apologize for the ending -gets killed-
