FILTERED PRIVATE TO JULIAN GALLAGHER.
Mr. Gallagher,
Meeting between the interns and Mr. Edward Vance done for now. You
asked what it was about, sir, so this is what I can tell you, although please don't tell anyone else because I don't think anyone's really supposed to know.
Essentially, Mr. Vance thinks that one of the
interns approached ABC to cover a story on the Vance Corporation factories in China, and he wanted us to make a confession about it. I don't think anyone actually said they'd done it, and it definitely wasn't me or I wouldn't have been doing my job as a Public Relations intern. If I may ask, do you think he's really got something there, or is he just being an asshole suspicious and trying to find out who it might be out of everyone here because he has no idea at all about who it is?
Thank you, and I hope you're enjoying yourself so far, despite the rain. I've also definitely been re-reading the pre-departure package since we've arrived, so I'll be prepared when the time comes.
