Well, this is a bit unexpected! A seemingly self-sustaining, subterrainian world?

Though, it does seem a bit too pristine. And here we were expecting monsters or something similarly terrible~. It would have been interesting to see what sort of creatures lived in this environment.Sheena, Professor Klarth, what exactly do you make of this? I suppose ( Read more... )

I actually know almost nothing about the Nerifes. Ask Klarth.

...This is interesting, though. How large do you think it is? It certainly seems bigger than just the base of the lighthouse...

I wonder just how long it's been here, or even how it came to be here. Or why, for that matter.
But it probably extends far out under the lighthouse's base, that much seems certain.

Although I know more about Nerifes than you do, Colonel, that doesn't mean I know much.

Perhaps... it maintains this place as a habitat?

[ooc: OKAY, SO, MONSTERS IN THE QUIET LANDS. SHORT VERSION.
Phynx- nasty tiger-like creatures with wings. They fly in the air and attack with claws or full-body rolling tackles.
Eggtopus- They look a bit like 'chibi' jellyfish, with an oval center and small tentacles. They cast spells, or attack by throwing themselves at you or suddenly becoming HUGE and knocking you down.
Lizardmen- Humanoid lizards that attack with swords. They're quick and often leap to attack.]

A habitat would make sense, assuming what I've gathered about this Nerifes is correct.
Though what the purpose of this tram device is, exactly, is still unexplained. That is, unless Nerifes needed it. Or someone came down here regularly...
