I know there is no easy answer. Unfortunately the passage of time is the best tonic. Patience is one of the most rewarding but tiresome traits one can flex. Eventually you will feel reoriented, I know it. You have friends and family there to support you.
Work through the pain, embrace those overwhelming moments of love and appreciation. Life is a series of tensions and releases. You'll be all the wiser, perhaps even know yourself more than you thought you ever could, in a few years.
