Do you know how to cast brass or iron? Once I have my own home, I'd like to cast my own bathtub.

Yea, first you build a plug out of wood. then you build a mold from the plug out of a hightemperature ceramic and sand. the hard part is finding the machinery/furnace that gets hot enough to melt iron or brass. anywho once you find the furnace you melt the metal and puur it into the mold. once it hardens you use a hammer and crack the mold out from around it.

Or you could just go on e bay and buy one already made.

Thanks for the advice. It makes me happy that there are people out there that still know how to do cool things.

I got some of the ideas from this website:

It will happen some day... I just need a work space and a place the put a bathtub. I was also thinking how it would be cool to produce cast iron pans and door knobs as well.
