So I knew something like this would be coming. Rick told me tonight that they are scheduled to go to NTC at Ft. Irwin. When you say? Oh that is right AUGUST. So yeah who is going to take care of an infant a 3 year old oh and ME after surgery? Oh, man, I'm sorry. :\ What about coming back here? Or is that just not realistic with your job and desire to keep the housing you guys have? I hope it works out in your favor as much as it possibly can.

Traveling up there would be a huge headache.

My mom should be coming down but still the Army doesn't know that and it wouldn't be that big of deal to keep him home that month.

UGH!

David's company let a chick stay behind from a two week op because her boyfriend was coming home for R&R, they best let Rick stick around for the birth! No family around.. hardship.. take what you can!

He said they flew someone home from JRTC when their baby was born. Nothing is set in stone yet but this is so typical for his unit..........

Gotta love the Army!! I hope they can figure out a way to keep him back on Rear! If not, let the "Cranky Pregnant Woman" side of you come out in full force ;-).
