[Ha. Um. A response to last night's episode, House Divided, featuring 12 year old Robert. Could also have been titled 'Robert Chase: The Wonder Years'. No spoilers for the episode, exactly, but you won't understand the fic until you've seen the ep. One day I swear I'll write something that doesn't reference his father at all. No Warnings, 1176

But his issues with his father are so fascinating! I don't blame you for wanting to write fics around that subject; I'm the same way with House and his dad. :-)
Anyway, this was great. It's awesome you've decided to take up writing Chase - there really are hardly any Chase muses out there. You write him really well, too, which is even more bonza (ha, Aussie sayings).
Speaking of, 'rack off'! That's definitely an appropriate slang term for the time and age in Australia; it's not used anywhere near as much these days, but in the 70s and 80s where your fic is set, it was used as much as the term 'dago' was used in the 60s and 70s.
Fantastic fic. I wondered what the situation might be in which Chase discovered he was severely allergic to strawberries, and I really like your take on it. :-)

But yes, daddy issues and religious issues are far too much fun to play with.
My own dad is an Aussie, which goes along with an old Neighbours habit in explaining the backdated language XD I'm glad it fits!
A-and thank you for the compliment. I'm stalked your House a little in the last couple of days and he's entirely epic. And now I'm back to watching your icon forever.

Ahahaha that's awesome. I'm Aussie, too, live in Melbourne, and religiously watch Neighbours. Hee, I remember Neighbours in the Jesse Spencer days! Man, that was a long time ago.
Aww, yay! I'm really glad you enjoy my take on House. :D

I like their relationship, though I have less idea what to make of it after last night o___O
Billy Kennedy never interested me at allll. Now Mal and Libby are a different matter. :) I don't watch it anymore, but it was a huge part of my childhood.

An interesting take on Chase and his relationship with his father, too. Well done.
