Just got back from the Slim Cesna Auto Club show. Skinny tall dudes dressed in black with cowboy hats. They rocked the fucking house. It was like Rev Horton Heat at a tent revival. Crazy rockabilly gospel goodness. Incredible energy.

I think I'm just about drunk enough to tackle this:

Interview meme revisited
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not so creepy/personal.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1: What is the thing you've done in life that you regret most?

I do make specific point of not regretting my actions. All that I have done, good or ill, is a part of who and what I am. That being said, one thing does give me discomfort. I don't like that I am not a part of the daily life of my kids. Not that I would change how things happened, I'm extremely happy to not have their mother as a part of my daily life and I don't see how I could even manage having them here anyway, but it still strikes me as something distinctly wrong that I don't know how to fix.

2: If you had to choose only ONE of your cats, which would it be and why?

That's a bit like asking me to choose between my kids. I won't do it. Given the situation, I would turn on the source of the question and find a different solution that didn't require splitting them up. One story of my divorce is that I had to choose between my cats and my wife, and I chose my cats. I especially won't split them up. I'd give them both up before I did that.

3: What one food item is you greatest Comfort food?

Extra crunchy peanut butter on warm toast. Toppings optional, including honey, jelly, and applesauce. Glass of milk to accompany.

4: What is the thing you feel silliest about doing while under the influence?

Going along with my ideals on regrets, there's not much I feel silly about. I have a tendency to own whatever it is I do no matter how ridiculous it is. Though I will say the dress up party warriors photos from Carterday were pretty silly. I was somewhat resistant to that one.

5: Define CHaos in your own words

While one aspects is dissolution and entropy, I prefer to focus on the aspect of possibility. Everything is happening at once, all things are possible. Chaos is the freedom to maneuver and choose between possible outcomes, trying all things at once and allowing the best of them to survive. I see evolution, growth, change, dynamism, expansion, and the process of life itself. The role of consciousness in the universe as a self directing wildcard to the static laws of nature, capable of changing the system from within and moving the immovable. All rules are flexible, all forms are mutable, all things end and all things become something else and something continues to exist forever. It is freedom, and the knowledge that there is always a choice. Always.
