There's a certain bluntness to Rossi and Reid that I enjoyed very much. I liked how Reid makes the first move, and Rossi follows along. The Dave pulling out all his favorite tricks line is wonderful, because he absolutely, positively would.

His 'doh!' moment and subsequent attempts to apologize are very wonderfully Rossi. Kudos for the flower use (I actually had done research a few days ago for a Reid/Elle fic using that exact same flower) and Rossi's persistence. Bravo!

You know, even though This pairing does nothing for me at all, I have to say this was extremely well written, and hot and I can totally see it.

I loved all three stages of the fic, from the hot hot one-night stand, to the rationalization, to the apology. Love that Rossi lets Reid lead once he's been forgiving and love Rossi's plotting at the end.
