EDIT: Hey, Asshat who decided to reply to this in my own journal. You're a fucking asshole, and you should stop commenting under 'anonymous.'
If anyone is a spoiled brat, it is you.
My friend and I decided to get ice cream one day, and made the trip up to our nearest Coldstone.
Now, as most of you are aware, the ice cream is visible in the center of the counter, so if there is a line, you have to WAIT to see what ice cream they have made today.
Now, today there is a line- go figure. It's a hot day. Behind my friend and I is a little girl, whom is by herself. It appeared that her parents gave her money and told her to run in and get something. She was waiting very patiently and I was impressed. (She looked to be in about 1st or 2nd grade.)
But then walk in 4 elderly couples. 60+ . Yes, 8 different people. They decide they want to see what ice cream is available instead of waiting in-line like everyone else. They then move around the entire line, and literally shove my self and my friend back from the counter. The ladies tell their respective gentleman what they want, and then sit down. I figure then that the gentlemen will then move to the back of the line.
They don't. Um excuse me!?!?! Then two of the men forgot what the ladies wanted, and had to wait for them to get up, walk over, and remember themselves what they wanted.
To be honest, I really didn't mind, because they were elderly. They should have known better, but whatever. What did upset me was when I was ordering, the little girl's father came in, and was wanting to know what was taking so long, and started to pull his daughter out. She was obviously upset, and said "But, they all cut me! I was waiting! I didn't mean to take so long!"
She ended up not getting her ice cream after all.
