Bleh. So confirmation calls aren't a thing in my country, and I'd despise getting them. But: why be such an arse about it to you? It's not your fault. All he needs to do is say yes, he's coming. Then he can hang up and rant to himself how annoying he fidns those calls. -_- Immature customers are hell.

I get why people don't like confirmation calls (I don't like them either) but part of the reason why it's important for us is so we can better prepare the customers. If there's anything in particular we're doing, theme, any special warnings we need to be aware of, etc., we want to make sure we're covering everything for the session.

It sucks when a customer has to act like that. I've had some who scheduled the appointments online claim they never made an appointment and have absolutely no idea what I am talking about. Oook...

I recently missed a dentist appointment because I did NOT get a call. They usually call, but for some reason, they did not. I certainly would have appreciated a reminder!

(I am usually good with not forgetting appointments, but it was booked 9 months prior, for Jan 2017, and at the time of the booking, I did not yet have a new day planner for the new year to mark it down. I had a magnet on the fridge, but Dec/Jan was such a busy time for me, I neglected to notice it. )

Me too. I'm scatterbrained and I probably wouldn't make half of my appointments on time without those calls/texts.
