She wouldn't listen

I was serving a customer yesterday who wanted to pay by card. But every time she entered her pin, she wouldn't press enter. I told her to press enter, and instead she took her card out. A copy of a 'voided sale' receipt came out and I handed it to her, and we started the process again. And she did the exact same thing. Instead of pressing enter ( Read more... )

That's pretty much what I said when it happened. We had a heater on, and that kicks out some noise as well as heat but there was no way she couldn't hear what I was saying. She just wasn't listening to a word I said.

I see this kind of crap all the time on the bus when people don't listen to the driver on how to put the coins in the slot and they end up jamming the machine, holding up the bus.
