Amarillo has its own share of ghosts, wandering spirits and specters. Evidently one of the thought you ought to be getting up instead of sleeping through the ringing alarm clock (the clock may be disturbing the specter). I had several places up there that were haunted. Doesn't surprise me a bit that you got shaken.
