So tonight at work as random on an entire new level. When people ask my why I work the night shift I normally don't have a good answer, but I had one tonight. A customer came in telling her husband that he had to get rid of "it" and then she looked to me and said that I would probably take "it". The item in question turned about to sword below. The

HUH. does the sand color come off the hilt? that is pretty damn cool and a nice looking sword.

Oh yeah. It's the same that's on the sword. I tried to get it off, you can see I got trough some and see it gets darker. It's like the hilt is stone.

finding something like that ten feet deep in the earth is.. not typical. did they mention why they were digging the hole or if it was some kind of heap of old garbage or something that they found it in?

No mention of the why on the hole, but he was very specific that he was digging up the dirt in his back yard so I'm guessing "encased and housed within the earth it's self" is a good add on to the story, haha.

But my guess is that he was not nearly that deep and he just noticed it when he had gotten to the ten foot mark with the backhoe. It's not like he was up close with a shovel.
