Most of the changes to the Star Wars Blu-ray version seem practical like imagery and audio refinement. The lightsaber enhancement from their moments of dim light and wishy-washy colour sound splendid, for example.
However, I'm pretty apprehensive of the (double) "Noooooo" when Vader lifts up the Emperor. The dramatic scene was perfectly executed

One of my favorite Star Wars memories from my childhood was seeing ROTJ in the theater, and everyone jumping out of their seat and cheering when Vader dumped the guy down the chute.
Darn George Lucas...imagine if the Mona Lisa had been 'updated' every few years so that her clothes and hair were in fashion.
I mostly agree with Guad. I like some of the enhanced special effects, but the Jabba's Palace scene was a mutilation and several of the other changes were pointless and stupid.

I didn't think he could do worse than messing about with Han Solo's character development by reversing the Han vs. Greedo encounter in the cantina. I liked Han shooting first, because he was a scoundrel with a dubious moral compass, but he had a wonderful redemptive arc/change to his attitude throughout the movies. But, the added "Noooo" to ROTJ, might just beat it. That clip is avaliable to have a sneak peek on some news articles/blog reviews.
