Ok, so everyone who reads this HAS to answer this.  Why?  Because I said so, duhhh.  :]  And I just want to see everyone's answers.

If you were stranded on an island, what 3 things would you bring with you and why?

And I want to punch Whitney Bennet in the face.  She's a stupid ho.

okay, so my assumption is that we are permanently stranded on this island with no hope of ever getting off. that being assumed:

1. all of my cds and a cd player with lifelong batteries. I listen to music all the time and without it, I'd probably be lost (even more so that being stranded on an island)
2. my blankie. that's right, blankie. it would be nice to have a source of comfort.
3. books. a lifetime supply of books. because I like to read.

I'll have you know that I found naming three things to be a very difficult task. and technically I know it's not really just three things, but three concepts, whatever. it's not like I'm ever going to be stuck on an island (knock on wood). on and I decided against bringing any people because I couldn't narrow it down to three and you said what three things, so there.

I like the books idea... but when the new Harry Potter comes out you won't be able to read it! That's a bummer.

island life for me is shockingly low tech

a vw microbus! sure it wouldn't need to be able to start cause there would be no where to drive it to, but still, to have a bed, a sink, a refrigerator, and a stove that would be great. not to mention a place to go if it rains or it's a bad season for bugs...and i wouldn't have to build it myself, a pre-made home.

paper and pencil cause computers are all nice until i want to write a poem or draw something, not much creativity works well on computers for me. i plan on using all that free time i'll have to write a book or something.

paper clips...in the past week i have picked a lock and fixed a stapler all with a paper clip so who knows what i could accomplish on an island!!

okay, i'm going to go along with this meaning there will be no people involved since you said "things."
My three things are quite simple.
1. I would need my diary and pen. I need some place to put my thoughts and i'd be able to keep track of my days that way too. I would totally keep up with birthdays.
2. I would bring an endless supply of sunkist. Because I love it.
3. And lastly, I would bring with me an endless supply of raid.

*granted endless supplys are allowed.

Ok well... I would bring:
1. A sword to fight off my nemeses that are after me buried treasure
2. My cat Zoe aka Hitler... so I can eat her for when I'm hungry. I bet she tastes like chicken.
3. My blankie and pillow (they go hand in hand)
