We're not sure exactly what state the house of Finwe is in at the moment - one thing is certain, however.
Aredhel has been missing Makalaure very much.
The babes are in the care of a trustworthy individual - their father, perhaps, or maybe Marguerite, Nerdanel or Galadriel. She stepped out to get something to eat for herself and pauses when she sees Tsuzuki in the kitchen.
As soft as her voice is, he jolts a bit, as he snaps out of his morose reverie as he turns and rises out of his chair, nearly knocking it over in the process. "Oh, your ladyship, good evening! I didn't hear you come in." He's trying to sound cheerful, but it sounds forced, like he's trying too hard to keep up appearances for her sake.
"Oh, I'm only being polite: my mother and my sister taught me to treat a lady like a lady, and I'd think that goes double for a lady of your people," he says, sitting down again, slowly. "There's a really good red velvet cake in the cooler: I was just helping myself to some, if you'd like to try it."
He's dancing around something that's on his mind, and when he does that, he tends to babble.
