It seems, that a person may be a fence sitter, but they must support why they are a fence sitter well. And they shouldn't do it on more then one issue, if they haven't no opinion on the survey, they shouldn't bother applying.
not having an opinion doesn't make you weak. it's sometimes because of lack of information (like they don't know enough about something to have an opinion) or they can't make up their mind. you can't tell someone they HAVE to have an opinion. because it most likely wouldn't be their own. they'd just make one up to shut you up.
I can understand when a person doesn't know which way to go. I happen to be one of them on certain subjects. I don't think its a reason to reject them. I agree with blaze2242. I think they should be able to explain their position on the issue and why they are that way. Heck, I'd be one of them trying to explain why I'm in the center! Some issues, I see both sides and I agree with certain things. It has nothing to do with being weak. Like, abortion... I'm for and against it. I think abortion is a poor choice if you're the one who messed up. For the women who get raped, they can't help it. It was not their decision to have sex. Also, the women who have problems with the pregnancy and it could potentially be fatal? Why have the baby, lose your life, and know your child will grow up without a mother? *shrugs* Thats just where I am, and that... is why I'm a "fence sitter"
