Abortion: Honestly, I personally feel that it's wrong. If you are mature enough to commit the act, then you should also be mature enough to face the consequences of your actions. Taking the life of another, before their life can even truly begin, is a wrong and disgusting act. Sometimes, for your own personal health, an abortion is the right route, but unless your doctor tells you such, then it's not right.
Our government (generally, what do you think of it): I tend to stay out of any sort of politcal debate, because of my mixed views. While I will always stand behind the decisions of my government, I don't feel that all their policies/ideals are right. In fact, most of them are quite wrong, and I only hope that the next presidential term is far better then this one.
Same Sex relationships: I myself am straight, but I have many gay friends, and I support them. They're people, with real emotions, and the choices they make are theirs alone. If they're in love, then that's wonderful for them. Who am I to say what's wrong and what's right? As long as they have something real, then what's it matter?
Drug use: Again, I myself don't do drugs, but if you choose to, that's your decision. Sometimes the best way for people to learn, is from their mistakes. If they don't learn, then they alone must suffer the consequences.
Choosing your baby’s gender: That's just crazy. I would much rather take what's handed to me, and accept chance, then to do actually choose my childs gender. If I have a boy, I will love him. If I have a girl, I will love her. Picking and favoring one over the other is just selfish.

Have confidence in yourself? Yes, I do. If people can't accept me for me, then I don't want to know them anyway. I take pride in being a strong-witted individual.
Think you are a good candidate for this community? (please explain why) Yes, I think so. I'm an intellectual person, and that's why I choose to join this community. It's not often that you get a chance to be cute and smart, as people almost always go for the former. I'm interested to meet other people, to see their views, and, in a moment of rare shallowness, I just think it'll be fun to say I was picked. If I'm picked that is.

If you could switch lives with a celebrity for a week, who would it be, and why? Ashley Judd. She's a Kentuckian, like myself, and she seems like such a wonderful person. It would just be interesting to see how her life here, differs from her life in Hollywood, and how she stays grounded. Oh, and you know, there's that whole 'hanging out with all the other celebrities' things. ;)

What types of people do you appeal to? I have alot of friends who are in drama, and I'm acquainted with alot of musician's. For the most part though, I hang out with my fellow journalism students and writers.
Who has influenced you to do something with your life? My friend Jenny, who passed away in August of 2003. She was the best person I ever had the pleasure of knowing, and she always encouraged me to keep my nose to the grindstone. She just always believed in me, and that I could do anything I put my mind to. And on a more famous level, my journalism idol is Joel Stein. Just something about his writing, makes me want to work harder.
