It's hands down one of the, if not the, most amazing lake I've ever seen - it's located at the eastern entrance of the Yosemite, so there's that breathtaking mountain range in the back, and these formations that go from bright white to pink and orange to sort of a beige-gold are mesmerising. (Only downside was the bear at our camping ground, and the -15 centigrade during the night... ;-D)
