Hi! I had a taste of the scorching hotness a week ago while I stopped by Vienna. I thought about you two but the truth is I didn't have any time for socializing, since I was attending the Alpha Con (a convention for Teen Wolf and The Vampire Diaries). But yeah. It was crazy hot and the con was held in The Pyramide Hotel in Vösendorf inside a gigantic glass pyramide. Everyone was dying a slow death but at least all the guests were lovely and entertaining.

OMG in a glass pyramide? That sounds horrible... but it still sounds as if you had fun :-D

What a pity you hadn't had time, I would've loved to meet again!!

Glad you're back!! nico1908 June 12 2014, 16:00:00 UTC
Wow, it's hotter over there than here in the Florida panhandle (be glad you don't have our humidity, though). That's rare! At least over here you have AC everywhere, but unless things have changed drastically in the last 14 years, that is not very common in Europe. Still - I feel your pain!!!

I was just reading some of your old history sporks yesterday, wishing you guys would post a new one one of these days. Like Russell Crowe's Robin Hood. That was ... interesting (although it could have been worse: it could have had Mel Gibson!).

On an unrelated note: YAY Kattas! My favorite lemurs! :)

Unfortunately, it tends to get rather humid here as well, and the heat is sort of "stuck" between the houses (it's cooled down now, but the walls and particularly the tarmac are still radiating off so much heat...)

Nope, still not that much AC over here (and if there is, they tend to cool the rooms down to artic temperatures) - but actually, I'm not that unhappy about that since a constant draft is downright hell for someone suffering from pollen allergies.

Hehe, I actually liked Crowe's rendition of Robin Hood (first historically accurate death of Richard Lionheart :-), it was sort of... endearingly non-heroical :-DD

Kattas rule! I could easily watch them for hours.
