Note: The town neighboring ours is at war right now, and I just thought about this. Many civilians have died already, and I wish it would all just stop.

Hello, Icey. I really like this story. It's so honest. So do you mean to say that there's a war in Mindanao? Gosh! And here I thought it was all over. The news never mentions it anymore.

Well, the war is pretty subtle now. But since it's just a neighboring town, we hear about it a lot. Travelling's not really safe here anymore.

Oh. I heard there are bombings there where you live. Is that true?

Yup. It's true. Who told you? Um. The last one was around a month ago, I think. Some crazy guy threw a grenade in the middle of the street. Also, a bomb was found in the mall's cinema. But it didn't blow up, thank God.
