I had a few plans this evening where it basically ended with me driving home...like home home. The one that isn't my college home. Now...I knew I would have to drive back late because plans tend to take a long time when dinner consists of 25 people. Anyway, let me get on with my story

Those cameras would totally see that truck...man. I felt like I was re-enacting Steven Spielberg's first big movie "Duel"
My vision is fine at night if things are lit up. Darkened roads simply aren't cool. Trucks aren't either!

I have no idea about the ticketing system over there, but I think you should just concentrate on the fact that you only did it because it was the safest thing to do -- trust your instincts.

I think anbody in my situation would have done the same thing...or they wouldn't be in good shape today.
I think they should ban semis because I was almost crushed by two awhile back. I was in between two and they didn't see me. One had their blinker on and started coming into my lane. I had SLAM on my brakes. Good thing there was nobody behind me.

I think you could definitely get out of that ticket or at least get it reduced to something minor. I definitely think you made the right choice.

I'm just hoping that there was no camera...First time I ran a red light and it will most likely be the last.

It's an roads that have no lighting that make me nervous.
I felt like I was in some scary movie like Joy Ride or Duel. It was generally just not the place I wanted to be in...especially at midnight.
