Women's size clothing, anyone?

Anybody know where I can find Women's (plus) size clothing that is NOT designed to make you look like an extra-dumpy 55 year old woman?

Oh and Torrid is my favorite because it's a sawnkier plus-sized version on Hot Topic and you can probably find a Torrid store in a nearby mall.

Those are some good links! I like that they use real plus-size women too.

Thank you! These sites are great. I've never seen pls sizes in Old Navy. Are they only on the web? Or maye I was not looking in a big enough store. Though I have seen maternity.

I do most of my shopping at Lane Bryant.

I also buy most of my boots at Silhouettes/ since they have a plus-size calf boots in various calf-widths.

http://Newport News also has plus-size.

Silhouettes can be slow to ship.

What I don't like about Silhouettes and Newport News is that they don't use plus-size models so it's hard to really see what the outfits look like on the bodies they are selling to.

Cool link for Silhouettes. NO matter what size I get myself down to, I still have biker calves that make getting hot boots something of a chore.
Am ALWAYS looking for new boot places!

I find it somehow ironic that I have been able to add several size small items (small, SMALL!, there was a day when I thought that would never happen again) to my wardrobe -- but still the boots are my, achilles heel of sorts.

;)

Also, I buy presents for my mom and sis at Lane Bryant.
I totally respect the fact that they really do make cool trendy clothes in larger sizes. They make clothes that actually flatter the curves of the woman they are made for and play up their assests nicely. It is clear that they believe curves are beautiful, and I think that belief is beautiful.

I find Lane Bryant way way too pricey for the quality of stuff they offer.

It's nice stuff, nice styles and whatnot, but EVERY pair of jeans I've bought from them as worn out in 2 months of moderate wear or less. And for $40 a pair for said jeans, it's so not worth it.

They do have wonderful skirts though.
