New York vacation:

Sooooooooooooo much fun!!!! Like I said, I went with Liz from Photography class. We also went with her mom, her sister (Katie), and her sister's friend (Kevin). I was able to get a $60 ticket for Rent a few hours before the show. And the best part was... IT WAS FOURTH ROW CENTER! :) It was sooooooooo freakin' awesome. I hope you're able to get good tickets.

Right now, I'm at home (Virginia Beach). It's definitely different from SBC's rural area as well and I love coming back here after spending a long time in the middle of nowhere. I do have to agree that SBC is "so super beautiful". I think I really take it for granted sometimes. You should see it during the fall. The trees' colors are amazing.

Anyway, I have class in the morning and I have to be there on time for once (tee hee), so I'm going to bed. Talk to you soon!

So I did the photobucket thing and uploaded the picture, but I don't really know where to go from there. I can copy and paste the web address on my entry but not the picture. *Sigh* I'll figure it out.

Hey,

For photobucket, what you do is you copy the second of the three choices to where you want the picture in your post. it's called the "tag." but i understand if you don't want to post your picture in your journal-kinda scary!

thanks again for the words of comfort. you made me feel so much better. slowly getting used to the surroundings, but it's great to know that SBC is it's own little world, and i'm so excited for everything to get started! I really can't wait to meet you either. glad you are having a good summer! and I hope the DMB concert was fun-lucky you!! :)

I don't think that Brian would be very well received at the wedding. Perhaps you could bring your sister? Or another friend to the wedding? If not, I'll ask that you be seated with Scott (if you're interested), since I won't be there to keep him company. If you can't think of anyone else, I think you should call Chas and ask.

It really sucks about cheerleading :( :( :( I hope SO MUCH that you do find some good freshmen to work with. And hopefully there will be a better turn out for Basketball. Maybe you can even convince people like Janie and Jen and Lesley and other former cheerleaders to cheer b-ball. Why isn't Erin coming back?
