So I have the next three days off. Kevin had Monday and today off. We've had the best intentions of getting stuff done. Haha. How that ends up working

I keep saying I'm going to do a huge bulk cooking day and get stuff in the freezer, but I never have time to even go to Sam's to stock up on the bulk meat. Ugh. One day, I will get there.
I'm hoping to go to the pumpkin patch on Sunday afternoon too. It's our only weekend left to go. Next Sunday, Jeremey leaves for a business trip, so that day is shot. :/ Hopefully we will be able to go and no plans come up between now and then (and Jeremey isn't a butt about it - he hates going, lol).
If you can find the time, its definitely worth it! Its also a real PITA to give up basically a whole day for cooking but the end result will make you feel pretty accomplished (at least it does for me). Right now, I actually have TOO much stuff that I finished and I'm worried about getting the last of everything into the freezer. I made two lasagnas and I dont actually have any room to freeze them at the moment...
The absolute best part of it all though is how much I saved. I ended up with 35 meals this time and only spent $150. Granted, I had a ton of the spices and such already on hand, but still - $150 for 35 main courses is pretty awesome (and that's with throwing out some cilantro and scallions that I was grossed out by after I starting cutting them up; I could have started a garden with the amount of dirt still in/on them, yick).
I'm hoping that this Sunday coming up is good weather to get to the pumpkin patch. We didnt get there this weekend cause of the cold and now I'm panicking that we wont make it this year!
