I laid them out this weekend thinking I would feel more prepared. And instead now I'm freaking out about how little it looks like. I have to remember that the outfits I got them will add about 6 to 8 boxes (I put one shirt in a box, pants in another box - gotta spread that all out LOL) plus they have a dollhouse that will be put together.

Christmas time drives me insane.

Why do people feel the need to offer "advice" when we don't ask? So annoying.

I was always told as a kid the Santas at the mall/other places were just Santa's helpers and they didn't always have beards like the real Santa. I told Kyndle the same thing and she seemed to believe it.

It drives me nuts to get unsolicited advice. I mean, I could understand if you're having a conversation with someone and its the topic of conversation, then ok, fine. But out of the blue, not even talking to the person and they lean over with some words of wisdom... makes me want to scream.

Ahhh, the Santa thing. Maddie told me that night (after writing this) that a kid in her class today her there is no such thing as Santa. We had a long talk about it and I THINK she may be ok but... I could smack the kid in her class. Sigh.

Kyndle has been told that for years too. She shrugged it off and told the kids that she felt sorry for them that they didn't believe. I'm not 100% sure if she still really believes this year or not, but she's acting like it. She could be putting on a show for us or for Walker, which I'm totally ok with. Even if she doesn't believe, we still have to keep it up for her until Walker is the age where he doesn't believe any longer. We have a ways to go, lol.

I just think people need to learn to zip it! I can't stand all the unsolicitated advice out there. I think it's even ruder when it comes from someone I'm doing business with which is why I lost my mind at the music shop owner. He was always commenting on my son's behavior which is something my son couldn't change! Yes, he bounces up and down and is chatty because....he has issues. I'm sorry it's weird and inconvenient to you and your studio.

I am still behind the ball getting all their gifts. Ugh. I feel like it gets worse the older they get.

Enjoy getting ready for the holidays, I hope it goes well.

People do need to learn to zip it! I can understand conversational advice - like if I had been talking to this woman about pacifiers then that would be a good time for her to say "Hey, you know what worked for my kids?" But when I walk in the door and the first thing she says to me is about my kid's binky... dskhgjkhdf drives me nuts!

I think I would have flipped out on that music shop owner too!

I am not looking forward to the struggle when my girls get older. As it is, its getting difficult for me for Maddie. She's right on the edge between little girl and tweenie girl stuff. Not ready for that!

You enjoy too! Hope yours goes well and you have fun!
