well we talked to shane last night and he totally said that the "guy in the band" like me a whole lot :] and shane said he couldnt say anything until sunday when we hang out and its something good :D

You should go with whatever feels right, From my point of view it seems like the one that asked you out actually cares for you, I mean he had the nerve to ask you, I for one know that asking somebody out is a rather hard thing to do. Getting turned down is a total bummer. I dont really know the guy thats outside of the band but from the sounds of it, he seems to be a sweetheart. And ultimately if you like him back why not go for it!
