I grew up listening to CBC radio in the morning, listening to the reports about Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka and listening to my parents talking abou it. At the time I didn't understand it, but the names always stuck with me. Skip ahead to me now, with Karla

Law & Order has done an episode over a year ago based on Bernardo and Homolka. The couple were serial rapists/murderers and the first victim was the wife's sister.
There was a bit of a stink made about it but went to air anyways because the story doesn't have the same impact in the states as it does here.

Bernardo is in Kingston Pen, right next to Queen's; we met him in one of my classes because we did a prison tour.
Creepy as hell.
