Everytime I go into the Borders near me here in London, they're always playing some weird country song... singing about tennesee or something. Borders stores smell the same everwhere.. even internationally. MacDonalds too.

Yeah, just not the big chains. They smell too much like coffee.

Haa, me too. :3 Sometimes it smells like leather, and all different kinds of wood they use for paper...I like one paper smell particulary, read a wooonderful book once and it smelled like that~ Reminds me of sunlight coming through a window, grass and ancient stories. One could spend ages in bookstores. And slide a finger on the covers...Language department is a heaven.
