Our first crop of raspberries this year. (late, as is everything due to the late frosts).

Yummy. 15 mins to pick, 15 seconds to eat.

Although the weather is Officially Too Hot (still have the fan on at 10pm), I love the long midsummer evenings. Now need the motivation to get ready for another Monday....

It's been hot in this corner of Surrey, but at least things are starting finally to grow!

For those of you allergic to mention of vegetables, look away now.

Today was a 'snow white Apple Pie with custard'

they got the ingredients...including shortcrust pastry, so big cook got a packet out of the fridge (no surprise there)...
