So i get an email from DMU reckoning i owe em £1000 for tuition fees! All my shit was paid by teh government!

And cus there extra nice, they''ll gimme 2 weeks to pay...fuckers.

So now im gonna have to go in on my day off tommorow and try to clear it up :(

Crappy DMU! You should SO not waste your day off on this. Even if you did owe the money, they couldn't possibly expect you to pay up witin two weeks - it's just scare tactics to panic you into getting in touch straight away. I'd write them a letter, with enclosed proof of the government paying your fees if possible, and wait for them to come back to you. Then you've done your bit, and come back to them.

Also, are you sure it isn't some kind of scam?! It seems weird that they would e-mail rather than write.
