omg i was just gunna make alfredo so i put the milk and water and butter in the pan and i put it on the stove and then i set the timer for like 8 minutes so i could check on it and see how it was doing and it beeped and i guess ididnt notice all the smoke as i was going into the kitchen and the stove was ON FIRE! like the stuff had spilled and

is your stove electric..cuz if it is don't put water on it...electricity n' water don't mix... my mom always told me to put a cover over it so the fire won't have oxygen & it will go out... u r lucky ur mom doesn't know....my mom would kill me...
