SOO I FOUND OUT LAST NIGHT THAT THIS GUY THAT I HAVE BEEN HOOKING UP WITH OFF AND ON FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW HIS ROOMATE IS NOW ON MYSPACE AND WAS READING MY BLOGS AND REPORTED EVERYTHING BACK TO HIM.....THANK GOD NOT ANYONE CAN GET INTO MYSPACE I WANT TO BE ABLE TO FREELY WRITE WHAT I NEED TO SAY AND GET FEEDBACK FROM ALL OF YOU WITHOUT WORRYING ( Read more... )

your journal is public so anyone can read your entries, whether they are on your friends list or not.

you should try making your journal friends only :D

do I have to have a paid acct for it to be friends only..I am so a loser at knowing all this stuff!!

no you don't need a paid journal...
follow these instructions..To set the minimum security level of all future entries in your journal, go to the Admin Console (http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/) while logged in and type:

set newpost_minsecurity

Do not enter the < or > symbols; these are only for reference purposes. To set the minimum security level to Friends-Only, replace with "friends". To set the minimum security level to Private, replace with "private". To set the minimum security level to Public, replace with "public".

Yeah I kinda got the same problem too. Since joining myspace a guy I use to talk to found me as well. I just actually went back through my entries and made certain ones "friends only".
