I normally feel sorry for Dave, but it was a little hard to feel bad for him here. It's been a while, but I seem to remember him telling Sloane that she should give Jesse a chance once they found out it was his baby? Maybe he'd figured that Jesse would just freak out and hightail it out of town or something and it would be a non-issue, but... I don't know. For some reason, he just wasn't as sympathetic a character here for me.
I'm sure he'll redeem himself soon, though. He's a good guy, even if he is a bit... off. And totally wrong for Sloane.
Exactly. Dave was fully prepared for her to come running into his arms crying because Jesse denied the baby. Only, he doesn't realize Sloane hasn't dropped the bomb yet.
I don't know why Dave wants to be with Sloane when it's obvious that she wants to be with Jesse! Who wants to be second pick? He should just let her go and find someone who wants to be with him!! And Jesse and Sloane are so perfect together!! I can't help but root for them!
And YAY for Van coming out of the closet! Dave's reaction kinda sucks though!:( What kinda crap is that to hang up on your friend when he just came out of the closet?
I think my favorite scene was the grocery store with Drake. That was awesomely done Yui!!: And not looking very good for Drake!!:(
AND OMG!!! I can't believe you updated this when I was at work and couldn't read! The horror!! The horror!!! But it was SO worth the wait!!::D
Dave only sees what he wants to, but he also thinks anything between them is purely Jesse up to his old tricks. She couldn't possibly want anything to do with Jesse because she has him now. *rolls eyes*
Dave was pretty awful wasn't he?! Apparently finding out your best friend is bisexual erases a lifetime of friendship in one second. And to think I wasn't going to make him into men as well. Just kind of went with it when I was rewriting.
