for the 21st day of november

Nov 19, 2006 21:32

Turning 18 will be perhaps, will be really, the worst moment in my life.

There will be no reason to celebrate. It means nothing. I mean nothing.

thanks to your encouragement, i had the first happy birthday in a long long while.

i hope you do too.

actually many times we feel sad celebrating our birthdays, cos we're celebrating ourselves, our existence, it's all about ME. birthdays can sometimes be selfish, and who can be happy being selfish all the time really..

but dude.. maybe i'm just thinking too much into birthdays. haha. i gotta lighten up :D

i'm glad you had a happy birthday.

but i feel non-existent, invalid. people will expect me to be happy on that day but it will be such a chore. that's why i find no purpose to celebrate my birthday this year. many people spend their birthdays like as if it's a normal day anyway. like i said, it means nothing.

man, i know what you mean. i get that feeling every year.

but seriously, who said that birthdays had to be special or that we have to be happy on our birthdays? cut us birthday girls some slack man.. haha.

i only had this 'fuck birthdays' feeling since my 16th birthday which i had got obscenely drunk and embarrassed myself. i don't remember if i celebrated my birthday last year but it is not important. i think in some ways, you understand me so i don't feel as awful. i'm looking forward to our sorta reunion this saturday ;)

Haha, I spent my 18 like any other normal day. Depressing really. But if people don't want to celebrate my birthday, then it's fine by me, but people who love me enough to do so really makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I would celeb your birthday with you and so many other people would do so too babe.

Here's Chow Yun Fatt, nevertheless, to blast those blues away.

i feel that as we grow older, birthdays are jus another ordinary day.

we can always celebrate anytime we want.
dont have to be on our birthday.

but anyway, cheer up sweetie.
it wldn be the worst moment in yr life. why wld it be?

it's not about growing old.
it's about being happy.

Even though there's no reason to celebrate, can I still give you a hug? ---> *Hug*?
