I am well chuffed. Considering we live in Manchester, when we put bird feeders out in the back garden (which is really the car park with the wheelie bins, a large patch of overgrown grass and a massive old tree) we expected to get some blue tits or wood pigeons, sparrows and the like. I made the mistake of writing a list of my assignment deadlines for my final couple of months at University. I have completely frightened myself and am now convinced I'm going to fail because it's surely impossible to fit all of those words into that amount of time ( Read more... )

So somehow when setting the alarm for 6.30am I magically adjusted the clock so it was an hour fast. I didn't realise til I got in my car to go to work at half 7 and looked at the clock, and it was half 6.

It was pitch black, something should have clicked, surely.

I'm going to apply for a job today. It's in Wigan, that's pretty far I think.

I get really nervous just thinking about it - there are two audiologists posts available, so I'm twice as likely to get the job than any other post! Posi thinking.
