Quicktime 7.0

Quicktime 7.0 has some cool new features, but it took over my browsers! Safari and Firefox have been showing me a Q with the question mark. Most songs or movies dont stream and I cant even see some flash ad's( not that i care). Quicktime 6.5 didnt do that. What can/should i do?
