Fiona really loved having a phone. It meant she could call up a cab company, meet them at the end of the causeway, and have them at the mall and ready to shop without having to wait at the dorms

Zack grinned as he stepped out of the cab, putting his hands on his hips and taking a look around. Oooh, so this was what the world on the other side of the causeway looked like.

It looked like a place with a mall. It was fascinating!

"I'll handle the fare on the way back, then," he decided, nodding toward her. "It's only fair."

Zack Fair was fairly handling fare. The boy was made for alliteration.

Thankfully, Fiona would only have such problems if she pursued a career in the mail carrying profession or fence building.

"Okay. So. Where do you want to go first? Peyton and I just went to the music store."

"Well..." Zack looked up at the mall, and then kind of shrugged. "I don't really do this often. We're here for clothes, right? So... A clothing store, maybe!"

He was brilliant. Really. It took a great deal of mindpower to associate clothing with clothing stores.

"And then we can just wander around when I look less like the poster boy for the random armor squad, huh?"

"Sounds good." She noted a Gap store right near their entrance and offered her hand to him.

"Come on, that place looks good. I've seen ads from there."
