I think that I need to start looking at making goals. Attainable, start making progress towards wherever the hell I am going to end up. Nothing too extreme, but I don't think that I want to stay at this house any longer, besides affording it, it's too large for me, and at this point I just don't see the prospect of having a room mate palatable.

Good for you. With Saturn (work, reality and the ruler of Capricorn) in Virgo, attention to detail, a realistic plan and long term goals will pay off. Hang in there! Life will improve in small increments and before you know it, things will be significantly better.
