Someday
Chapter 2: Bossy
****
I told myself that I would move on, someday.
---
As usual I sat on my chair staring outside. The weather was not okay, grey skies and the winter silence makes the whole thing no life.
The bell just rang and all of my classmates have evaporated. If you’re asking me, why am I still here, the answer is pretty simple…

"OI! CHOI MINHO!" My jaw initially dropped as I heard her yell...for the first time. I was stuffing my things inside my backpack, facing the window.
I turn around and saw her with a narrowed eyebrow with a frowned. "Y-Yui... why?"
"Wait for me, okay?!"
I tried to smile; instead I could feel my lips forming an ‘unsure smile’. I swallowed hard and say, "I... I... don’t think I can wait for you, I've got my part time job, remember?" I scratch my head thinking she could remember what I told her before.
Before... since she came here, two weeks ago.
"And so?" I gave her a half smile. Why is she acting like this? She’s acting… weird? And bossy? “You have to wait for me, OKAY?”
“Eh? But…”
She frowned and glared, “CHOI MINHO! YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR ME, BECAUSE I SAID SO!” She kicked the chair and it thud loudly on the floor. My shoulders shrugged in terror and my eyes widen. I heard my classmates gasped. I suddenly felt embarrassed. I wanted to walked closer to her and cover her mouth.
But fright and dread dominate my brain. I just stood there and stare at her blankly then nod.

“Choi Minho.” I blinked my eyes twice. I got jolted back to reality. I gulped. Her voice sounded sweet again. I spun around and smile at her. I could feel my lips and eye twitching.
“Yuuuu-i?”
She walked closer to me and pulling the end string of her backpack. She stood in front of my table and started pulling the sleeve of my uniform. “Come on. We got to go somewhere.”
“Now? Look at the weather, at this point of time… it’s advisable to stay home or go to your work.” Of course I lied on the last part, coz I badly want to go to my work.
Time is gold!
“Usou. (It’s a lie)” She said and chuckled once.
“What’s that?”
“Himitsu! (Secret)” then she stuck out her tongue.
Eh? My jaw dropped again, as I looked at her unearthly. All of a sudden, she pulled my hand and we started running outside the room.
We were holding each other hand, and I’m absolutely sure that there were smiles etched on faces and laughs echo along the hallway.
We turn left and went upstairs again.
Wait! I think I know this place! She let go of my hand and pushed the heavy door. We were at the rooftop. She walked ahead of me whereas I trailed her.
I could see some glints of ice falling down from the sky.
“What are we doing here?” I asked quite in awe.
“We’re going to eat our snacks here!” She hauled my hands again and we sat on the corner. There was a red and white checker blanket placed on the floor and a basket.
I laugh. “What’s this?”
“Like what I’ve told you, were going to eat our snacks here!” She giggled and opened the basket. She brought out a lunch box and opened it before she could pass it to me. “Here, I bake this last night.”
“Aww. You shouldn’t have.”
“Of course, you’re special to me Minho.”
It brought a smile on my face. I open it slowly and ask her, “So what did you bake?”
“It’s a blueberry cheesecake.” She grinned. “It’s your favorite, right?” I gave her a half smile as I scoop a small amount of her cake. “TASTE IT!” She leaned closer to me, waiting until my lips would touch the cake. I swallowed it. I wanted to barf. “So how was it? Isn’t it delicious than the cooking of your mom?” I feign my chuckle and wipe my mouth. Her facial expression suddenly changed. “CHOI MINHO!!! It’s delicious right? Tell me or else I’m gonna cut your thick hair!”
I nodded fast. “Oh. Oh. Yes.”
“Good.” She gets the spoon from my hand and scooped another one. “Ahhh.”
I open my mouth and reluctantly eat it. I gave her two thumbs up. She took a bite herself and wiggled her head happily.
I looked on the other side and make face.
The truth is, I don’t eat blueberry cheesecake.
